District Governor Welcome 2010-2011

Fellow District 14 Toastmasters:

Roy GangaIt is a great honor to be serving as your 2010-2011 District Governor for District 14 (Georgia) Toastmasters. I envision it to be a year where you will have many opportunities to Energize Your Voice and take control of your destiny. I pledge to you my continued commitment and servant leadership to all Georgia Toastmasters.

As you entrust me with the responsibilities of leading this district in the coming year, my goal is to position District 14 to achieve President’s Distinguished District Status in 2010-2011.  This will only be accomplished by a committed effort from all of us, to keep our education and membership Critical Success Factors in the forefront of everything we do. Your 2010-2011 Leadership Team is energized and committed to providing quality and effective training and leadership opportunities for Clubs and District Officers, as well as recognizing and rewarding achievements.

As we embark on this journey together, let us remember that Toastmasters is in its 86th year of success.  Even in times of historic economic crises, our members have excelled in their personal and professional development.  This is a tribute to our sound and effective Communication and Leadership program that focuses on our members.

We must continue to ensure that every Club effectively fulfills its responsibilities to its members by providing them with the educational resources and tools necessary to reach their goals, to promote membership satisfaction and personal recognition, and to inform members of the many rewarding benefits and opportunities Toastmasters continues to offer, all in a fun, friendly, supportive environment.

I urge everyone to Energize Your Voice to share our joy and satisfaction with others that we meet.  Together we can expand the network of clubs, thereby offering greater numbers of people the opportunity to benefit from our outstanding Toastmasters educational program.

I am looking to serving you in the coming year.  Energize Your Voice as we strive to achieve greatness together.

Sincerely,

Roy Ganga, DTM
District Governor 2010-2011
